Who it serves

Lawyers who have the basics and want AI inside their real, repeatable workflows.

The task

Build and test one repeatable workflow on a fictional matter: a structured brief, retrieval from a supplied source pack, a drafted output, and an evaluation against a prepared answer set — recording errors and decisions as you go.

The exercise

Take the Foundation method and harden it: run the same brief across a second fictional matter, note where the workflow bent, and record what you changed and why.

What you practise

  • —Chaining steps into a workflow that survives a second matter
  • —Retrieval strategies: what to supply, what to retrieve, what to verify
  • —Connecting one tool to the workflow, within explicit boundaries
  • —Evaluating output quality against an answer set, not a vibe
  • —Deciding what to automate, what to assist, and what to keep human
