Who it serves
Lawyers who handle agreements — commercial, transactional, in-house.
The task
Take one defined agreement type — a training NDA or service agreement — with a short playbook, preferred positions and a known set of deviations. Prepare a clause-by-clause issues table, separate commercial questions from drafting issues, propose changes and check the wording against the original and the playbook.
The exercise
Issues table with: clause reference, issue, supporting playbook rule, proposed wording, unresolved question and reviewer decision.
What you practise
- —Turning a playbook into rules a reviewer — human or model — can apply
- —Distinguishing commercial questions from drafting points
- —Proposing wording with reasons, then checking it against the source
- —Marking escalation points and unresolved instructions
